With the Ayeyarwady River running the entire length of the country, all of Myanmar's long hidden treasures may now be revealed. The golden spires of pagodas, opulent palaces, ancient temples, bamboo forests, saffron-clad monks and numerous other once in a lifetime sights may be seen from the comfort of an elegant river cruiser.

Road To Mandalay offers a range of itineraries to choose from. Fly from Bangkok or Yangon, then journey along the legendary Ayeyarwady River by cruise ship between Mandalay or Bagan. Three, four and seven night cruises are offered from either Mandalay to Bagan, Bagan to Mandalay or round trip Mandalay to Mandalay. Special cruises, offered only once or twice a year, will take passengers to lands rarely seen by the outside world - past the Ayeyarwady River through three gorges and up to the Myanmar/China border. A two night pre- or post-cruise package in Yangon, with brief orientation tour, can be added to any cruise. Although optional tours may be purchased, the two nights are spent at your leisure to explore the historic city of Yangon at your own pace.
